I bought this frame backpack for a trip to a documentary film shoot in West Africa and after I was done packing, I found out that I have really packed more clothes than I actually needed. The Teton Sports Fox 75+10L Internal Frame Backpack really proved to be a backpack that truly displayed terrific structural integrity, and it really stayed well balanced on my back through some pretty long hikes in various rocky hilly parts of Ado-Ekiti (a mouth full huh?)
All the compartments of this internal frame backpack sure made all my possessions very easy to organize. But in my opinion, the outside clips and straps might are a little bit excessive. When I was on the road, riding in a rugged “bole kaja” – as the natives referred to it – the straps did come in quite handy, I tied up my tripod for my camera and other gadgets securely.
The Teton Sports Fox 75+10L Internal Frame Backpack is made of top quality materials which really came as a surprise to me because on seeing it for the fist time, I thought it was going to set me about 100 to 150 dollars back but it was a whole lot cheaper than what I thought, you can get for 52% off at Amazon(the cheapest online). For around $60, you’re not going to find anything better. The sleeping bag compartment is also quite easy to access – that is, if your sleeping bag is a small sized one. Thanks to the rain fly which comes attached to the backpack your stuff will remain bone dry after a light to medium rainfall; I haven’t been drenched by a heavy downpour carrying this pack (yet). One more thing, the capacity of this pack is very large; most times, I only end up using only 65 percent of its capacity. Overall, this pack is great value for the price.
